How to Go Old School and Turn on Real Time Notifications
I'd like to get emails from the Discussions Online Community as they happen just like the old COCSA Listserv. How do I do that?
Click on the down arrow next to your Profile picture (upper right hand corner of your screen) and Select 'Profile'.
Select 'My Account'.
Select 'Community Notifications'
Scroll down under Notification Settings, for the Discussions Online Community, select the 'Real Time' option under 'Discussion email' for the Discussions Online Community.
If you do not want to get the daily email that consolidates all the entries into one, uncheck the check mark in 'Consolidated Daily Digest' next the Discussions Online Community.
Definitions:
Real Time
= you receive email notifications with discussion posts as they are made to any community (same as old COCSA listserv)
Daily Digest
= you receive a daily email notification that contains all the posts made in that ONE particular community
Consolidated Daily Digest
= you will receive one daily email notification that contains all the posts made to all the communities you are a member of.
