How to Turn Off Participation Emails

I thought ChiroConnect was set by default to send me ONE email per day with an overview of EVERYTHING. I'm getting overrun with emails with responses from questions/postings that I have posted! How do I "opt-out" of getting these emails?

The emails you are receiving are called 'participation emails'. Much like Facebook notifications, we want to make sure you don't miss out on an important post to a discussion or entry that you expressed interest in either by participating in the thread or are following (click on the 'star' in the upper right of the thread). Whenever someone replies to the discussion (Inline), it will generate an email to all who have participated in the discussion.

You can remove yourself from receiving the emails on a particular discussion by unfollowing the discussion - uncheck the 'star' on the upper right of the discussion thread OR you can stop ALL participation emails by opting out of "Participation emails" by adjusting your email preferences under 'My Account'. Here's how...

Click on the down arrow next to your profile picture (upper right hand of your screen) and select 'Profile'.
Under 'My Account', Select 'Email Preferences'.
Scroll down to 'Participation Emails' (Emails reflecting one-on-one interactions (ex: reply to sender, contact requests, @mentions, real time notifications) and change the slider button from 'Yes' to 'NO'.
You can always change your mind and choose to receive emails again...
