  • ChiroCongress 2022-2023 Nominations are Open!

    Call for Nominations 2022-2023

    Nominations close on August 16, 2022, at Midnight. 

    Greetings ChiroCongress Members, 
     
    The Call for Nominations for the ChiroCongress Board of Directors and ChiroCongress Clinical Compass Representatives is now open!
     
    Nominations can be made online at: http://forms.chirocongress.org/view.php?id=77659 and will close on August 16, 2022. Eligible candidates can self-nominate or be nominated by someone from an eligible state association.

    Eligibility

    • Members of current ChiroCongress State Associations who are in good standing in accordance with the Bylaws.
    • Candidates for President, 1st or 2nd Vice-President positions must be Doctors of Chiropractic.
    • Candidates for ChiroCongress Secretary, Treasurer, Executive Director at Large, or District Director positions are open to DCs or non-DCs.
    • Candidates for ChiroCongress Clinical Compass Representative positions must be filled by a Doctor of Chiropractic and meet other eligibility criteria in ChiroCongress Policies and Clinical Compass Bylaws.
    Elections
     
    Elections will take place November 10-12, 2022 at the annual convention, held at the Hilton at the Ballpark Downtown St. Louis.

    OPEN POSITIONS

    Please refer to the Bylaws for specific requirements for each position and terms of service.
    Executive Committee

    All Executive Committee positions are one-year terms with either 2- or 3-year consecutive terms. All positions open annually for nominations.
     
    The following is a list of Executive Board positions and those who have expressed an interest in running for election or re-election: 

    • President - OPEN - Dr. Thomas Wetzen (VA)*
    • 1st VP - OPEN - Dr. Brian Stenzler (FL)*
    • 2nd VP - OPEN - Dr. Julie Bird (IL)*
    • Secretary - OPEN - Dr. Rachel Wendt (KY)* 
    • Treasurer - OPEN - Dr. Gerald Stevens (NY)
    • Executive Director at Large - OPEN - Tiffany Stevens (TN)**
    District Directors

    Nominations for District Director positions are open in odd or even years in accordance with the year of the election and serve 2-year terms. Directors can serve up to 3 consecutive terms. The following District Director positions are open:

    • District 2: OPEN - Marc Abla (IL)
    • District 4: OPEN - Dr. Chad Carpenter (TX)

    The District Director(s) listed above are eligible for election or re-election and have expressed an interest in running for their position in the next term.   
    Clinical Compass

    Nominations for ChiroCongress Clinical Compass Representatives are open in odd or even years in accordance with the year of the election and serve 2-year terms. Compass Reps can serve up to 3 consecutive terms. The following positions are open:

    • Clinical Compass Rep District 2: OPEN – Dr. Christopher Dolecki (MI)
    • Clinical Compass Rep District 4: OPEN – Dr. Carson Muth (ND)
    The Clinical Compass Representative(s) listed above are eligible for election or re-election and have expressed an interest in running for their position in the next term.       
     
    *Current board members or representatives have term limited or expressed an interest in running for a different position.

    **Running for different position and declared intent.
